Wonderful job on your blogs! You have some great ideas for your anatomy course. It is extremely expensive for schools to get cadavers, and I suspect that it is also tough to get students into autopsies as well. As a nursing student, I did get a chance to see cadavers (I wasn't allowed to touch), and it was fascinating. Warning though! If you do get a chance to work with cadavers, don't wear anything that you want to wear again...the smell attaches to your skin and clothing for a long time.
